Winter Membership

6 Month golf for as little as £7.46 per week.

Play unlimited golf at Halifax West End between 1st October 2023 and 31st March 2024.

Community Membership

Community Membership Terms & Conditions

- Membership is open those persons, whether new or existing members whose circumstances may have changed, who can demonstrate that they are in receipt of low or modest incomes

- Low or modest income will be determined by reference to such guidelines as are laid down from time to time by the Department of Work and Pensions and outlined in relation to the rules governing qualification for Universal Credit. Evidence of such qualification will be required.

The club will also consider applications from people, on low or modest income, who are not claiming Universal Credit or benefits but can demonstrate to the club that they are unable to pay the full membership fee.

- The initial fee will be £215 p.a. which includes Golf Union Fees of £15.

- This category will entitle a member to play 52 times a year, that is once per week, including the opportunity to play on a Sunday after 3.00 p. m. in the months of April to October inclusive and after 12.30 p.m. in the other months of the year.

- Community Members must register in the Professional’s shop and pay a fee of £5 before the commencement of every round.

- A round can only commence at a time agreed with the Club Professional. Such starting times will depend on course usage on any given day.

- Failure to register with the Professional will, on the first occasion, give rise to a Warning letter.

A subsequent failure will result in the cancellation of membership. In the event of such cancellation of membership, none of the initial payment of £215 will be refundable.

- Community members are entitled to an official CONGU handicap.

- Community members may introduce three guests to play as a four-ball. The guests will be able to play at members rates for visitors.

- Community members have full use of the practice area.

- Community members will receive a Bar Card, which entitles them to a discount of 15% on bar purchases other than food and may attend Social Events.

- Community Members are entitled to vote at the club’s Annual General Meeting and at any other General Meetings of Members.

- Membership will be renewable annually on the anniversary of the first application.

- Membership can be upgraded to Full Membership at any time on payment of the relevant additional fees.

- Community members will be required to acquaint themselves with and conform to the Club Rules.
