LOCAL RULES

  1. OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18)
    a) Beyond all boundary walls and fences.
    b) The area of the practice putting green and surrounds bounded by white stakes.
    c) The car park, overflow car park and all lawns and flower beds adjacent to the clubhouse and the first tee.

  2. PENALTY AREAS (Rule 17)
    a) The ponds, bridges and ditches on the 1st, 7th and 16th holes as defined by yellow lines and stakes.

  3. ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (Rule 16.1)
    a) All areas bounded by a white line and marked GUR are Ground Under Repair.
    b) All artificially surfaced paths are immovable obstructions.
    c) All shelters, ball washers, tee signage, constructed steps, inspection covers, embedded tee and distance markers, practice nets, concrete tee bases, the halfway house and green keepers shed are immovable obstructions.
    d) When playing the 10th hole, the astroturf path around the 11th tee is deemed an immovable obstruction. Relief may be taken at the nearest of 2 drop zones.
    e) The fence and gates surrounding the 13th green area are deemed to be an immovable obstruction.
       i) When playing the 13th hole, if this immovable obstruction interferes with a player's stance or area of intended swing, relief MAY be taken at the nearest of the 5 dropping zones inside the fenced area.
       ii) When playing any other hole, Rule 16.1 applies.

  4. WRONG PUTTING GREENS
    a) When playing the 9th hole, a ball coming to rest on the 15th green or apron MUST be taken to the drop zone on the edge of the 9th fairway.
    b) The practice chipping green, between the 1st tee and 11th green. Free relief must be taken under Rule 13.1f.

  5. NO PLAY ZONES (Rule 2.4)
    a) The flower bed between the 3rd green and 7th tee is a no play zone.
    b) The area marked by white stakes with green tops, between holes 9, 10, 13 and 14 is a no play zone. Rule 16.1f applies. Entry to this area is PROHIBITED. Free relief MUST be taken from the reference point where the ball last crossed the line marking the area.
