Unleash Your Drive Hubs are golf clubs to which the Golf Foundation has awarded accredited status as a fun and family friendly junior facility to play golf. These Hubs are at the heart of the charity’s aim to enable more young people to progress from playing golf in school to joining a local golf club.

The Golf Foundation offer support to Hubs with growing their junior section, introducing pathways for juniors, finding new ways to engage players, and building the infrastructure needed to thrive. The Unleash Your Drive offering also includes special mental toughness tools that can be incorporated across the junior offering to help mental wellbeing among young people - a cause the Golf Foundation are hugely passionate about.

To become an Unleash Your Drive Hub clubs must fulfil the following criteria:

• The Club must employ a workforce of qualified, trained PGA Coaches and a Welfare Officer
• The Club must have in place an up-to-date set of policies and procedures relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection

Halifax West End Golf Club is proud that our systems meet this important standard.

The Ladies section of Halifax West End Golf Club organise social and competitive golf for lady members including fixtures against other local clubs. Ladies can also enter most Club competitions which are open to both women and men. New members are made very welcome and there are vacancies at this time.
