Vehicles left in the car park
Members Only
Diary Event

We have been advised by the Clubs Insurers that we need to remind our Members, and visitors, that all vehicles are left in the Car Park at the owners risk, and that the Club cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage caused to such vehicles whilst parked in the Car Park.

Members are advised to ensure they have taken out their own Insurance to cover such eventualities, as well as protecting themselves and their property whilst they are away from the Club.

The PGA recommend Golf Plan, however, there are various other Insurance Policies available offering different levels of cover to meet individual needs.
It is important to note that this does not just affect West End Golf Club and applies whilst a vehicle is parked at most other Golf Clubs.

This has become more important at West End due to the trees alongside the Car Park, which offered some protection, having to be removed.

We have considered erecting a net to replace the trees, however, the cost of doing this is beyond the Clubs current financial position and, in addition, it was felt that it would offer insufficient additional protection to vehicles anyway.

We would ask that players take extra care when teeing off on the 17th hole, however, if a ball is hit in to the Car Park, or indeed out of bounds anywhere on the course, it is essential that this continues to be reported immediately in the Professional shop.

Signs will be posted in the Car Park and Club House to remind members of the importance of making their own Insurance arrangements.
