His team provide excellent coaching opportunities for you to fine tune your game. They are passionate about helping people achieve their potential. Darren is passionate about growing the game for all, in particular bring more youngsters into the game.

Darren leads a team that provides members and guests with excellent service through a wealth of golfing experience who are always on hand to offer advice and assistance. Their aim is to enhance your experience, whether it be game improvement, a change in hardware or perhaps clothing.
Darren has been the Head Professional at Halifax West End GC since April 2011, previous to this Darren was the assistant under David Rishworth. Darren has come through the ranks at the Club having joined West End GC in 1989 as a junior member. He is qualified to fit all the brands that are on offer in the shop. He is respected by his peers for his coaching having helped many people improve their game and subsequent enjoyment. Darren also has a good knowledge of the rules having done his stage 1 of the refereeing qualification. In 2020 he attained the qualification of PGA Director of Golf
David has over 30 years experience as a Professional golfer, and was previously the Head Professional at Halifax West End GC before focusing on his Refereeing. He is now on an elite panel of golf referees in the country and officiated in the USPGA Championship at Hazeltine in 2010. For any rules issues, David is your man. David is fully qualified in all aspects of coaching and custom fitting and has a wide knowledge of the latest golfing products. He is well respected by his peers, and is always happy to have a chat.
Neil is the non golfer of the team, but still has a wide range of knowledge in the sport. Neil’s son is the Head Professional at the club. He is an ardent Halifax RLFC fan, running the Clubs away travel and fund raising for the Club. He is always happy to have a chat and help you with any issues you may have.
